We at Do Care International are launching the Million Meals Appeal, a critical humanitarian initiative aimed at tackling food poverty across some of the world’s most vulnerable regions.The global hunger crisis has reached alarming levels. Today, over 785 million people go to bed hungry every night, not due to a lack of food in the world, but because of unjust access, conflict, climate disasters, and economic instability. The situation in Gaza, for instance, has deteriorated significantly over the last three years, creating a humanitarian emergency. But this is not an isolated crisis. Countries across Africa, Asia, and even the UK are grappling with rising hunger levels due to war, famine, drought, displacement, and economic hardship.We are a young but determined NGO, and through this appeal, we aspire to make a big impact. Our goal is to provide 10 million meals in our first year, delivered directly to those in need through trusted partners on the ground. Every meal, every food parcel, and every drop of clean water will be delivered without discrimination, regardless of faith, race, or gender.
